A Phantogram Cover

I love Phantogram! This track was inspired by their song, “When I’m Small” and I

sampled the hip-hop style track to make my own beat and then wrote a poem to fit the rhythm

I do not intend to monetize this content and I do not own the rights to the music sampled from Phantogram’s When I’m Small.

Killing the silence / I’m fed up with this world of violence / Keeping my head up trying to find out what’s tipping the balance / Don’t want no trouble taking the battle to the cabana / Tap into pictures and pitches of peace for human kind

Sit with the father / Continue feeling and seeing and dreaming / I lift up under keep feeling for buckle shed a collar / A different brother its definitive no giggidy giggidy / see a pun if a pallet fitted upon the graffiti

As if you care though / I think that kid was only 5 / Queue my body casino fill up to take on my kind / sheen of a polishing to keep a palace in my mind / No hay bartola like the policies in Palestine

Shape of a king / I showed up for ma / I showed up for pa / I showed up for beautiful problems shaping me / I’m looking forward wanna show them take T M from I / Know that I’m coming from respect go ‘head and take your time

Xie xie my Lord thank you for all I got / All the moments / Can up the power and shield it ‘til I finish out / Nothing better than seeing the dent of a bullet conceded / and if I’m lying keep count of the battles won/1 e + a… 2

I’m a fourth quarter tie / Shame if I’m punished sip tea if I’m muzzled call it shy / team up for better tentative ‘cause I can surely take it / High off the politics out of the galaxy that told me I can make it.
